Who would ever think? There are two things in my food life that I pursue wherever I happen to be, one being clam chowder, the other rice pudding, assuming of course, in the case of the clam chowder, that I am either in New England or know that there is true access to fresh clams and seafood. Rice pudding is another story; that could be hit or miss no matter where you go and most happens to be commercially made and pawned off as “home made”.
