High Intensity Training

I’m sure you have heard the craze about high intensity training. H.I.T includes and is not limited to P90x, Insanity, CrossFit, UXF at NYSC, and any form of interval training. These formats of training focus on high intense intervals using functional exercises.  The implementation of functional training makes exercising so much more interesting. The idea of using exercises that are similar to everyday life has put an extreme focus on getting people functionally fit. For example, UXF, a course offered at NYSC, gives members an hour of sweat dripping, butt kicking, and fun class all within a motivational group enviroment. All the workouts vary however they have one thing in common, you will be in great shape. Example exercises include kettle-bells, TRX (suspension training), battleropes, boxing, push ups, and sit ups. When getting in shape this summer make sure to keep high intensity training in mind!
