The Supervisor has sent the following message to all that contacted his office: <em>Thank you for contacting me concerning the alleged illegal activity at the Congers Wellness Spa.</em> <em>The Town of Clarkstown has been investigating this matter for several weeks, through both the Clarkstown Police Department and the Building Department. Through the police investigation one arrest for prostitution has been made to date, and the District Attorney’s office is prosecuting the matter. In addition, the Building Department has issued violations to the proprietor for failing to adhere with the Town’s licensing standards.</em> <em>We have also been in contact with the owner of the property, who is fully cooperating with the Town’s investigation and is pursuing all legal options available to him in an effort to remove this use from his property. </em> <em>Please rest assured that the Town of Clarkstown is taking a very proactive position in both prosecuting and removing this use from the Town. I would NEVER reccomend him as a good doctor to anyone I know. In fact, I had to receive a 2nd surgery due to his negligence, he's lucky his awful surgical abilities didn't ruin me permanently, otherwise my law suit would've followed through. Instead of telling me what went wrong in the surgery before pulling my gown up and pulling the bandages off, mind you I'm on morphine and demerol (spell check) I have no idea what happened, why I was bandaged up like that or why I was still in the hospital, I panicked, started crying & his response was "stop crying, do you expect me to feel sorry for you?" EXCUSE ME?! What are you doing?!!! I asked in resposne to his rude actions......"I have to check the bandages" ...."well would you mind explaining what happened first?!" I had no idea if my intestines were going to fall out if he pulled up that bandage nor did I know why I was still in the hospital. I was schedule for a laproscopy...3 little holes...no big deal, now I have a huge bandage across my abdomen and a rude doctor who is too much in a rush to get out for his son's wedding to explain what was going on. I didn't find out until the 3rd day I was in the hospital from Dr. Sabatini what exactly happened and at that I still didn't get the whole truth until I requested my own medical records, which concluded his cut into the uteran wall and to quote him exactly (months later) I "spouted blood like an oil rig".....How's that for bed side manner?!!!
