“Stand Your Ground” Stands Corrected

George Zimmerman threw Sanford, FL police department for a loop when claiming the “stand your ground” law enacted in Florida was his reasoning for shooting unarmed, 17 year old Trayvon Martin. Martin was shot dead by Zimmerman who claimed he saw a suspicious teenager on his street. Zimmerman said, “Something’s wrong with him. Yep. He’s coming to check me out. Republicans Feel the Heat

There has been a dramatic shift in relevant news in America these past few weeks. The parties have put away the economic issue bantering and have exploded forth with a nuclear level, social issue war. When the Susan G. Many hotel and Inn businesses are against the new taxes because it will put them behind the competition. The votes for these newly implemented taxes were by no means close. The votes were 10 to 5 for...

Along with the evaluation, a student’s test score will weigh somewhat on the teachers ability to perform effectively. Governor Cuomo also set aside $250 million in grants rewarding schools whose students have shown improvement and are generally performing well. Unions and New York...
